Driving Lesson Part Two

So I had my second driving lesson today and I've got my very last lesson booked and then I go for my P's! Woohoo! I had a double lesson today which was 1 1/2 hours long so I'm pretty darn tired but I managed extremely well as I've been extra careful not to take on anything extra during this week that would exhaust me further. I did a practice drive test today where I took the routes that I will be driving in my test and I passed the practice test, so I am very confident that I will pass my test. P-plates here I come! I'm so glad I finally have a driving instructor that I am happy with, I have learnt so much within two lessons! The previous instructors that I've had either continually chat to me while I'm driving, or they have been on their mobile phone! I'm paying money to be taught how to drive, not have a conversation! My instructor is confident that I will pass my test, the only thing that I would probably fail on more than anything else is going over the speed limit, so as long as I make sure I'm well under at all times, it's all good! It seemed that I would never get my licence but after a long four years here I am with one more driving lesson to go and my drive test booked! I'm so excited!! One of the issues that I am concerned about for the test though is being questioned about health conditions and medications. I never told my instructor about having chronic fatigue because it isn't an issue at present. If I'm too tired to drive I would just cancel the lesson and make it for another time. If I'm too fatigued, I don't drive at all and when I do drive my driving isn't compromised in the slightest but would Vic roads see it like that? If they asked me about health conditions I was going to say that I don't have any but I don't feel comfortable with lying so as much as I didn't want to I discussed it with my instructor, and I'm glad I did. They suggested that I ask Vic roads if I have to disclose chronic fatigue and if I do then I go and get a medical form filled out (biggest pain!) or I can just say that I don't have any medical conditions because it is none of their business...if I had epilepsy that would be a different story! Although my instructor made a good point that I didn't think about. I can choose not to disclose medical information and get my P's but if later on I'm involved in a car crash and it comes out that I have chronic fatigue and didn't inform Vic roads that's when I could get into trouble. So, to be on the safe side (and be the good little girl that I am) I'm going to ring up and ask about what I should do. So I have to get that sorted in the next few weeks.

Busy and exciting times for me. I finally feel like I'm getting somewhere in life and it feels great!
