Best Buys Of 2010- Spring Shopping

I'm feeling pretty down today, so I thought I'd do a cheerful post and show you what I picked up over spring last year. I could really do with some retail therapy at the moment (it works better than any antidepressant) but as usual I'm too darn fatigued. Maybe soon. Looking back at what bargains I bagged over spring makes me happy though. Here is what I found:

Gorgeous top from Target (where else!). $20. Just had to have it. I don't have many dressy going out at night kind of tops so this will be perfect for when I do finally get out to party at night!

My favourite pair of high heels right now. Yes, I have small feet but the bonus is that they always have my size! Well, usually. Some places don't cater for small feet. These cost me $7 (I know!) from Target. Love the colour! They look great combined with the following top pictured below and jeans.

One of my favourite purchases of last year. It was love at first sight. The picture doesn't capture the frills, yes it is very frilly! And it has butterflies amongst the flowers! This lovely top is from Big W (my sister works there so I get 5% off, ha!)- $24.

Lovely high heels from Target. Not so lovely when you have swollen feet- $7

Gorgeous top from Target. I love the detailed flower embroidery! $4 (yes!)

I love these shoes! My favourite flats in my wardrobe, and they are SO comfortable! My family call them the 'frill neck lizard shoes'- they do look a bit like a frill neck lizard I suppose! Not only can people look like animals, shoes can too, ha!

And another nice top, this one is from Valley Girl (which is another store where I regularly shop). Pretty. $10.

PS- I am going to figure out how to remove those damn borders!

You are my kind of shopper: getting things for the best prices! One time I had my eye on pants from Gap, and it took 4 visits until they were marked down to my price range!

A grocery store in my mom's town started carrying clothes a couple of years ago. They often have clearances at which I set 5.00 as my highest price, and still score several t-shirts. Last year, I got 4 pairs of cords for 3.99 each!

In the same town is a 2nd hand store (part of a for profit chain not a Salvation Army or charity clothing store)that purchases irregulars from designer labels, and obviously gets 2nd hand clothes from places like NYC given the labels, and condition of the clothes.

There I have scored designer labels (new or lightly worn) for incredible prices: a leather and fake fur knee length coat for around $8.

phylor- wow! You did well! I love how the most cheapest outfits can look expensive too. I'm like you, I refuse to buy anything at full price and I'll keep visiting until it's on sale. One time I really wanted a top but I didn't want to pay $25 so I waited 3 months and sure enough I got it for $10! I think we have a Gap store here in Melbourne now, I must go and check it out!

Relevant Notes Blog- isn't it just! You have great taste!

Stephanie Rose- I've already tried that! I wish it were as simple as that! I have a template which doesn't allow me to change anything for some strange reason, I can't change the colour or anything! I've read that I have to change some html code, so I'm still trying to figure out where it is. Thanks anyway though :)

Krissy- ooh nice! Target is really dangerous haha. Same! I'm always buying reduced items on sale, it's the best!

Oh, thanks for letting me know. I've been to sick to go anywhere near shops as of late...probably a good thing though, I don't need anymore clothes! Although you can never have enough haha!
