Card Making Monday: 'For You' Father's Day/Any Occasion Card

This is a card that I created as one of my sample father's day cards, but I guess it suits any occasion.

I love that it's blokey enough and yet is still classy. Military with a touch of vintage, I'm sure many fathers would love this card. It will be interesting to see if I can sell it at craft markets. Yes, Chronically Creative is hitting the craft markets within the next few years, hopefully!

For this card I used pre-cut card stock from Kaisercraft in metallic bronze.

I covered a third of the top half of the card in Dynasty from the Kaisercraft Duchess Collection and covered the remaining bottom half in Military Crusader. I then stuck down some grossgrain ribbon in dark brown with light blue polka dots. I then affixed a rub-on to my die cut from the Duchess Collection and stuck it down with mounting squares.

To finish off I used rhinestones in the top right corner in the shade blue grey.

And that's it! Simple but stylish.
