The Nail Files Thursday: NYC Color 'Fruit Tingle' French Konadicure

It's about time I showed you another konadicure I attempted. A french manicure with a twist:

Hot pink butterfly nails! What more could a girl want? The butterflies are slightly smudged because I thought the print was more dry than it actually was and I got them wet. Oops. Oh well, they still turned out okay, I think!

For my design I used Konad image plate m6 and m36. I'm still trying to get the hang of application, but I am getting there, slowly!

I used four coats of NYC Color in the shade 'Fruit Tingle' as my french manicure colour base. I then stamped on the floral image from plate m6 with OPI 'Alpine Snow'. I then stamped on the large butterfly from plate m36 using Revlon 'Plummy' and finished off with some silver rhinestones. Pretty!

So cute! Love it. Konad is so easy to use once you get the hang of it.

On a side note...all my nails came off :( i think my natural nails are too thin/weak to hold the gel... so I got acrylics instead (or what Helena calls 'powder gel' but I KNOW its acrylic! :P ) Hopefully theyre stronger.
