Baking the post christmas blues away, battling brain fog and feeling too tired to blog.

I haven't been in the mood for blogging much lately. It seems I've lost my mojo. The blogosphere is bursting with dreams and goals for the new year, while I am busy feeling blah, and, battling brain fog and fatigue.

So I'm writing a post about not feeling up to blogging 'cause that's what bloggers do, right? Right!

I've decided to take a break from regular blogging just for a little bit because I haven't been feeling too flash, and, because, well I need a break! I also need some time to figure out where Chronically Creative is going in 2012.

in my dreams I am here

Mind you, I have been partaying too hard over Christmas and New Years, which is why I am feeling ever so crap-tacular. I've been getting up to mischief out and about quite a lot lately, but as a result I've been feeling less than fabulous. I'm really suffering for it now.

I've it a brick wall.

I've lost all my spoons.

Heck, was it worth it though!

I'm happy to say that my back and rib pain is now well under a manageable level and I'm getting back into exercise. I am STOKED! Although the downer is that Humira side effects are still making me feel horrible and some days I feel really unwell and I just can't do a thing.

Fatigue is finally worse than pain once again. Bliss. Although fatigue along with brain fog seems to be getting worse {sigh}. Now that the pain is under control, it's like my brain has decided to focus on how fatigued I really feel.

And here I was hoping that Humira would help with the fatigue. Ha! It seems to have contributed to an increase.

I am so over this whole sick shebang.

OVER IT.

But when you feel like crap, you bake awesome chocolate blueberry muffins. Yeah baby!

I've been baking the post Christmas blues away. So you can look forward to some delicious posts comin' up...

Including chocolate fudgy cake!

Sorry you're not feeling well -- I do hope you throughly enjoyed your holiday partying -- even if you are paying for it now.
Blogging is about the good, the bad, and the ugly. Some days the good shines though, other days its the ugly.
Do hopw you feel better soon and all the best in 2012

PS: I hope you don't think I'm ungrateful. I know you sent me a package, but it has yet to arrive. We've been having trouble of late with mail not showing up, so I hope that your package isn't lost in some dusty corner of a post office somewhere between here and Australia.
Just to let you know, as it may take a while t arrive, I'm sending you some pixie dust and wishing stones to help make 2012 more whimsical and magical. I hope the package doesn't take tooo long to arrive.

I recently found your blog and having RA myself as well as mixed connective disease, poly myosotis and raynauds, I was immediately drawn to your blog- to see how you do it all. I've been taking Enbrel, Methotrexate & Prednisone to try and get all tying to get all this into a state of remission. I too am battling fatigue on a regular basis, as well as the miserable brain fog and can't imagine how you manage to do so well. I just wanted to write and let you know I have a very goog idea of the daily battles you go through and admire you for all that you do. I sincerely hope this slump, or set back is very brief and your creative juices are refreshed soon. Wishing you all the best!

@phylor- Don't worry, it's not lost I haven't even sent it yet. I wanted to make a card to go with it and haven't been feeling up to it until now. And I thought I'd try to avoid it getting lost in the christmas post. I'll let you know as soon as it is posted. Wishing you all the best for 2012

@dawnlorene- Thank you so much for your lovely comment. It's so comforting to know that I am not alone and that there are people who understand the daily struggles. I have been feeling so down lately and your comment has really encouraged me.

Bless you.

Awards. Proof that I'm awesome.
